Fostering Collaboration Through Tailored Training Workshops

01. Overview

ECCO had recently centralised various marketing functions spread across their customer journey into a European Centre of Excellence. Despite harbouring ambitious growth plans and a drive to advance their capabilities, there was a disconnect amongst their teams. They were unfamiliar with the workings of other teams within the newly formed Centre of Excellence and struggled to collectively identify and seize potential opportunities.

This lack of confidence hindered their ability to exploit emerging technologies and adapt to industry trends. Consequently, ECCO needed a solution that would empower their teams with the requisite skills and understanding to collaborate effectively and surmount new challenges.

02. Problem Statement

To foster effective collaboration within the Centre of Excellence, it was essential that all teams have an in-depth understanding of each other’s roles, how they contribute to customer experience and growth, and how to work in unison.

03. Our Solution

Our solution for ECCO entailed a discovery phase involving team leads and stakeholders to gauge their remit, knowledge levels, and areas of interest. Following this, we crafted a bespoke two-day training workshop aimed at enhancing the skills and understanding of their international team.

The workshop provided a thorough understanding of the entire customer journey, establishing a robust foundation. We further explored various other pertinent areas, ensuring the teams acquired a well-rounded skill set. A critical part of our workshop included practical exercises designed to foster collaboration and dialogue among the different teams. These exercises challenged the teams to work together, enhancing their collective ability to identify potential improvements across the customer journey.
